The Crone and Mr. Green Jeans
You might be wondering, how did this all come together. It is a pretty simple story. One of The Crone’s started out wanting to create a blog for friends and strangers alike. She likes to share her knowledge of herbs and how to use them to improve your health, how to turn them into medicine, and how to deal with health challenges that life has a way of throwing into our path. The problem was that she knew that she had a tendency to get side-tracked with projects or bored or flit off to a new project, leaving a trail made up of the carcasses of many abandoned projects. So, she had a brainstorm, make it a group project! That way we could encourage each other to continue to post new stuff and no one person would feel buried under the responsibility of keeping the project going.
So, there are multiple Crone’s and multiple Mr. Green Jeans and we all take turns posting. We each have a slightly different set of interests and hopefully that will give our audience a more eclectic range of things to read about. In general, we are all interested in LIVING SIMPLY. Doing things that most people tend to pay to have done these days for a variety of reasons. It could be as simple as no one ever taught them how, or possibly they are just too busy paying the bills. Things like gardening, raising farm animals, knitting, sewing, cooking, using herbs to enhance their health or whatever else happens to catch their interest.
We all live in the center of the nation, either in or close to the Kansas City area. Hopefully, we will also be able to share some of our favorite people and businesses from the area, giving you an informed opinion on some of the best in the area that we have found. Of course, there will also be some obligatory, shameless self promotion! Classes we are teaching, things we have for sale, places about town that you might find us from time to time.
